Great Start To The Course..!!

The Class started off with the Installation of SPSS.Inc Software in every Computers,
We all came to know how to use the software and started to apply some basic functions on it.
This practical approach in Stats class is somewhat a new experience for all of us and everyone is kind a enjoying this new approach of study.we have learnt histogram on day 1 as well as on day 2 it was in detail in statistics histogram is a graphical representation of the distribution of data a diagram which uses bars of diffrent height and even of diffrent width  to show diffrent amounts,so that they can be compared.in laymen theory we can say it is a bar chart representing a frequency distribution ;heights of the bars represent  observed frequencies. In SPSS.Inc  we have learned how to make histogram
following are the steps which one should keep in mind .....
  1. select graphs from menu bar
  2. click on legacy dialogs
  3. select histogram and fill the data in variable
  4. click ok button
There are three types of Measures:
  1. Nominal: Any random set of numbers which don't give any sort of information are known as nominal for example: ATM pin
  2. Ordinal: It is used for giving any rating in terms of like 1 to 5 it is used for small groups and in this numbers are in orderes set for example names of top 5 industrialists are written in alphabetical order
  3. Scale:Large group of data without any numbers
