1.The Second day started with Sir Teaching us how to Automatically Recode any type of variable into any other, in that we learnt how to convert the variable of state into numbers automatically, this can be accesed by going on Translate > Automatic Recode, and also the variable name should contains atleast one alphabet in prefix , otherwise it may give an error
2.Then We learnt how to group data into a two or more groups by using "Recode into Different Variables" feature in SPSS.Inc this feature can be accesed by going to Translate>Recode into different variables, in which we divided every state in groups of 1,2,3,4,5 based on region
3.Then we learnt how to compute the ratios using Transform> Compute Variable
here we have calculated the ratio of No. of people using vehicles in every region
4.Then we also learnt the feature of select cases in which we can have "If " Condition in it in which we made a graph of the data which is only of the North region, it can be accesed using Data>Select cases
5.Then we also discovered a way to compare means and medians by going to Analyze> Compare Means
